What’s New at ER: Faxing ePCR's, New Training Reports, RTAs, Occupancies and More!

July 11, 2018

Eagles legend Glenn Frey once sang, “The Heat is On.” And so it is as we enter a pretty toasty July across the country. All of us at ER hope you’re staying safe and keeping cool. Here’s some laid-back summertime reading perfect for a hot afternoon.

Just the Fax

In preparation for the upcoming ability to fax ePCRs to a receiving facility, you may have noticed you can now add a fax number to Destinations (Administration > Incident Settings > Destinations). Although the faxing capability is coming soon, you can get a head start on the process by entering fax numbers for the facilities you transport patients to.

Update ER 1

Let’s Talk Training

We’re happy to announce a brand new report for the Training Module: Report #1756 - Training Code and Training Code Category Hours for Standard for Personnel for Date Range. This report makes it easy to document individual progress made toward national or state EMS recertifications and will also be outstanding for ISO audits. Remember, the key is setting up your Training Codes and Standards correctly.

“Born on” Date

Report #526 Equipment List for Category for Subcategory with Assignment by Type has a new column to show the Manufacture Date for each piece of equipment selected:

Update ER 3

What’s Your Station in Life?

In order to provide better accountability for occupancies with no scheduled inspections, we’ve added a “Station” column to Report #985 – Occupancies for Occupancy Zone with No Inspection Schedule. That way you can check on occupancies by geographical zone and by station assignment.
