Florida Fire Department Streamlines Incident Reporting by Switching to ER

December 13, 2017

Our newest case study features Panama City Fire Department, located in a coastal community in Northwest Florida. The department used FIREHOUSE Software for many years, but eventually found the RMS to be inadequate in meeting their needs. They needed a more comprehensive incident reporting and data management system – and they found that Emergency Reporting fit the bill.

In the case study, the department’s Training Chief, Scott Flitcraft, describes how easy the transition was, how simple it is to use ER, and the major benefits they’ve experienced since making the switch. He also describes how ER proved to be especially helpful during the department’s most recent ISO audit – and helped them avoid any “horror stories” from years past.

The mobility of ER has also proven to be one of the most beneficial features. “Having the ability to access the program from anywhere is a huge benefit compared to the old days of being attached to a server,” Chief Flitcraft explained.
